If development becomes easier, will making money also become easier?

The impact of AI and no-code tools in an era of easy development and fierce competition. The importance of utilizing AI for monetization and the necessity of marketing.

Well.

It's the era where AI writes code and no-code tools quickly create apps. I've even churned out a website a day using Vibe coding.

But it's strange. With everything becoming easier, competition has actually intensified.

I came across an interesting discussion on Threads.

"It seems like all results will be determined by marketing."

A comment was made in response to someone.

"Isn't it ultimately about price and product quality?"

"It's not about monetizing with AI, it's about attaching AI to what will be monetized."

"When things become standardized, differentiation within that becomes important again, and competition intensifies."

"In the end, it comes back to designing the funnel."

Everyone seems to be grappling with similar concerns.

When you think about it, it's a natural story.

Easier development means lower barriers to entry. Lower barriers to entry mean more competitors. More competitors mean differentiation is even more crucial.

It all comes back to square one.

If you have a strong experience following trends like AI SaaS, Product-Led Growth (PLG) might be possible. That beautiful picture of growing through word of mouth.

But for most services? Marketing is still necessary. It's difficult to survive without the technology to promote and convert.

Running HashScraper, I realize. It's not just about having good technology. You need to let people know that you have good technology. Marketing is also a skill.

Sometimes, it's harder to find people who need the crawling technology than to create the crawling technology itself.

So, I think.

"Attach AI to what will be monetized."

That's the key.

Before thinking about what to create with AI, you should first look at what people are willing to pay for.

The problem comes first. Technology comes next.

In an era where development has become easier, paradoxically, things other than development have become more important.

Marketing. Branding. Understanding customers. Funnel design.

While the time spent coding has decreased, the time spent thinking should increase.

What I realized while coding at night.

AI helps to create quickly. But deciding what to create is still up to me.

Whether that decision translates to money or not, the market will tell.

And to ask the market, you have to step into the market first.

It's marketing.

In the end.
