— Algorithms choose reactions, not truths
Sometimes I think.
"Why is that convincing?"
"That's too simplistic..."
"Too many conditions are missing."
But at the same time,
That content is spreading.
Likes are piling up, views are increasing,
People nod their heads.
And quietly
These emotions follow.
"This situation doesn't seem to suit me."
This is not an individual problem
This emotion
Is not due to weak will,
Nor is it because one is behind the times.
It's a structural problem.
Current social media and platforms
Do not choose 'well-crafted stories.'
They choose 'stories that get good reactions.'
Speed over accuracy,
Stimulation over context,
Conviction over verification
Creates reactions faster.
That's why these sentences survive.
"It will definitely work"
"Just this one thing"
"It's too late if you don't do it now"
These sentences
May or may not be true.
That's not the important part.
It's about being quick to react.
Algorithms do not judge truth
Algorithms do not ask.
Is this statement correct?
Are there no exceptions to this statement?
Is there no possibility of someone misunderstanding it?
Instead, they ask.
Did people stop
Did they share
Did they comment
So
Definitive statements are favored,
Strong expressions survive,
Moderate thinking is not easily visible.
Within this structure,
Honest people inevitably seem disadvantaged.
So you become quieter
You think like this.
"I don't want to say it like that."
"I'm not that certain yet."
"I don't want to mislead people."
And the choices seem like two options.
I also play along
Say nothing at all
Most honest people
Choose option 2.
It's silence.
But this silence
Is not out of humility,
It's because of conscience.
The issue is not 'playing along vs. silence'
The biggest misconception arises here.
"If you can't exaggerate, you can't create content."
However,
This is a flawed dichotomy.
Not exaggerating
Does not mean you have to stay silent.
It's just that the current platform grammar
Masks your language.
Your language is
Cautious
Conditional
Not definitive
Leaves room for updates
This language
Is weak in going viral.
But strong in building trust.
People are looking for something different
There's an interesting change.
People now
Seek trustworthy individuals over those who provide perfect answers.
"This person explains even if their words change"
"This person admits when they don't know"
"This person doesn't hide conditions"
This doesn't lead to quick reactions.
But once trust is established, it lasts long.
Your language
Falls into this category.
A slow language is not useless
Honest words
Take time to spread.
Because
People don't choose it for consumption,
But as the language they use to build relationships.
So your writing
May not receive immediate reactions at first.
But strangely,
People start reading until the end.
People quietly wait for your next post.
This is not a failure.
It's the beginning of accumulation.
In conclusion
The reason you feel disadvantaged
Is not because you lack something.
It's just that the current structure
Doesn't reward your language quickly.
But remember.
There's plenty of playing along.
Honesty is rare.
And what's rare
Always shines late.
In the next post,
I will talk about how the nature of content changed
When I gave up exaggeration,
And why
Writing started to be used from that point on.
Your language is
Not wrong.
It just hasn't found its place yet.
